Welcome to Keokuk Health Systems

Initiated in November 1984, Keokuk Health Systems is involved and committed to providing quality, affordable care and services to the tri-state region. The KHS family includes Keokuk Area Hospital; Keokuk Area Medical Equipment and Supply (KAME); KAH Foundation; Tri-State Medical Group, Inc. (TSMG); Southeastern Renal Dialysis (SRD); and the Keokuk Area Hospital Organized Delivery System (KAH-ODS).

Keokuk Area Hospital

KAH has grown in sophistication and scope of service, and in 2007 cared for more than 3,200 inpatients and 50,000 outpatients; performed 1,800 surgical procedures; 29,000 radiology procedures; and 164,000 laboratory tests; and is caring for growing numbers of home care, rehabilitation and industrial medicine clients. KAH employs 470 people.

Keokuk Area Medical Equipment

KAME has grown to become one of the areas largest health care providers. KAME provides medical equipment supply services along with Oxygen and a retail Pharmacy service. The pharmacy offers nursing home service, medicine on time and home IV therapy.

Keokuk Area Hospital Foundation

The KAH Foundation continues to serve as a vehicle for ensuring the future of health care in this region by accepting endowments and tax-deductible contributions from individual and corporate donors.

Tri-State Medical Group, Inc.

TSMG is a not-for-profit foundation-model organization. Established in 1997 to recruit, employ and manage practices for physicians and physician extenders, TSMG currently operates medical clinics in Keokuk, Hamilton and Warsaw. The TSMG family includes a variety of physician specialists and extenders.

Southeastern Renal Dialysis, LLC

SRD operates dialysis centers in Mt. Pleasant, Burlington, Ft. Madison, and Keokuk. KAH became an equal joint venture partner with three other southeast Iowa hospitals--Mt. Pleasant, Burlington and Ft. Madison--in 1998 in the highly specialized area of renal dialysis services.

Keokuk Area Hospital Organized Delivery System

KHA ODS is a unique health insurance organization with a goal of providing cost-effective health insurance to small and large area employers. Established in July 1998, its business continues to grow and it now has one of the most extensive networks of providers, with nationwide coverage available.
